Mr P. (Paul) Wells - B.Ec, LL.B, Grad D.Comm, ACA, ASIA - Employed: 2003
Mr Wells joined La Trobe Financial in March 2003 after 10 years experience in corporate finance and audit roles. Mr Wells commenced with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1994 working in Audit Services, Taxation Services and then 4 years in an Associate Director position in Corporate Finance Investment Banking. This period involved extensive work in corporate valuations, due diligence, corporate transaction report and lead advisory roles.
Departing from PWC in 1999, Mr Wells worked for 2 years with ANZ Investment Bank as Associate Director of Corporate Finance, undertaking lead advisory roles in public and private capital raisings and transactions. In doing so, Mr Wells worked extensively across Australia's corporate "mid-market" reviewing funding and corporate strategy.
Mr Wells is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Economics and Graduate Diploma in Commerce obtained at Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA).
Mr Wells is also Chairman of the Group's Interest Rate Committee ("IRC")
