La Trobe Financial announced today that it has won two prestigious Asia Pacific awards. The first being Asset Manager of the Year and the second, Non-Bank Financial Institution of the Year by Le Fonti Global Awards.
The Le Fonti Global Awards, formerly known as the International Alternative Investment Review Awards (IAIR), have been running for the past twelve years. These awards recognise fund managers which display the highest standards in innovation, performance and social responsibility. Award winners were chosen from a short list of nominees selected by over 50,000 investors from over 120 countries following a review by an independent judging panel.
In its critique, Le Fonti commented on the Firm’s contribution and focus on driving a positive impact within its communities and striving for excellence with its market leading products. It also recognised the Firm’s personalised service and its significant commitment to ESG.
La Trobe Financial’s Chris Andrews, Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer commented “we are thrilled to be acknowledged as the Asset Manager of the Year – Asia Pacific. We strive to deliver the highest standards of service and continue to be good stewards of our investors’ capital. We have been managing other people’s money for 7 decades.”
Andrews further added – “for us, the future is simple – stay focused on being the number one asset manager of choice. To do this, we must continue on our investment disciplines, deliver on our market leading products and uphold the reservoir of trust that we have built with our customers for many years.”
La Trobe Financial’s Cory Bannister, Chief Lending Officer commented “we are delighted to be acknowledged for this award. More importantly, it is great for the team to be recognised for their tremendous achievement. Today, more than ever – the non-bank sector plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial needs of Australians. We remain focused and committed to providing financial solutions for under-served customers. We have been doing this for 70 years and will continue with this purpose-led approach.”
“We are looking forward to the year ahead, doing what we do best, which is supporting Australians when they need us the most, and we expect that 2022 is going to be a time where our solutions are in demand more than ever” said Bannister.
